The old and new bell-towers
The old bell-tower was built in the XVIIth century (although other sources report the XIVth c. as the date of its construction, (based on the style, we deem more appropriate the later one) and was situated at the extreme end of the facade of the main church, on the roof of the gavit.

Characteristic of it was the lightening of sections upwards. It had three floors; the ground floor was a continuation of the hall, the first floor had a square plan and four pillars, the second flour had a circular plan with eight columns and a pointed round roof.
In the XIXth century the bell tower and the gavit were demolished and a new bell-tower, was built in 1896 joined the western facade of St. Poghos - Petros church. More than half of it was destroyed during the earthquake of 1931 and only partially rebuilt very recently.
