The capel of Grigor Tatevatsi
The Chapel of Grikor Tatevatsi. The tomb-chapel of Grigor Tatevatsi (Gregory of Tatev) was situated inside the Meeting Hall and on the north side it is attached to the south wall of the main church. It has a very small chapel over it.
The building had four half pillars on the North side and four full pillars on the South side and every part supported an arch.
The arches in turn supported the vault of the roof. The building was like a porch in the southern elevation and there were openings by means of arches between the pillars. When the chapel was built in the XVth century (1410) the passage leading from the Meeting Hall to the main church was walled up.
